industrial ethernet switch jetnet6524g

JetNet 6524G, the 19-inch 24 ports Stackable Managed Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet Switch, is equipped with 24 gigabit ports, 4 optional Gigabit SFP combo to the last 4 ports and it supports 2 10Gigabit CX4 Connector. With the installation of stacking cable, up to 8 units can be stacked together to provide 192 Gigabit ports and 384G bandwidth. Its huge network capacity can satisfy the largest IP surveillance system having even more than thousands of megapixel IP cameras. JetNet 6524G supports the most advanced layer3 IP routing and Multicast routing features, such as RIP, OSPF, DVMRP, PIM-DM, PIM-SM and so on. The largest IP surveillance system can then be managed as multiple parts and does multisite surveillance efficiently.

  1. Huge Bandwidth for the Largest IP Surveillance System
JetNet 6524G is equipped with 24 gigabit ports, and up to 8 units can be stacked together to support 192 Gigabit ports and 384 Gigabit bandwidth. Its huge network capacity satisfies the largest IP surveillance system having even more than thousands of megapixel IP cameras.
  2. Easy Stack Management
The stacked JetNet 6524G devices allow users to manage through single console or through single IP address.  The maximum 8 units, 192 Gigabit ports and 384G bandwidth can be managed by one IP easily .
  3. Wire-speed Layer 3 Routing for High Speed Multisite Surveillance
JetNet 6524G is fully compatible with cisco routers and supports wire-speed IP routing and VLAN inter-routing. JetNet 6524G allows users to separate a big IP surveillance network into small subnets. Video streams from differet subnets are routed to the destination without forwarding delay. The routing protocols JetNet 6524G supports are RIPv1, v2, OSPFv1 and V2.
  4. Multicast forwarding and Routing for Advanced Multisite Surveillance
JetNet 6524G supports IGMP snooping for video multicast filtering. Dynamic multicast routing protocols help to route multicast videos through different subnets, include the IGMPv1,v2,v3, DVMRP, PIM-DM, PIM-SM. With these advanced features, multisite surveillance with the requirement of video multicasting can be simply achieved.
  5. Advanced Security for Secure Video Management
In the surveillance central room, advanced security features are required and must be implemented. The ACL (Access Contol List) provide “Permit” and “Deny” rules for any or specific host. The IP address, MAC address and port ID are the destinations allowed to be applied the rules. With ACL, the security of the surveillance system can be ensured.
  6. VRRP Ensures Reliability for Critical IP Surveillance Network
The VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) is known as default gateway redundancy. With VRRP, video streams of multisite surveillance can continue passing through different surveillance network even when the router fails. When the default router fails, the backup VRRP router will start up immediately. The VRRP ensures the reliability for the most mission-critical IP surveillance systems.

The JetNet 6524G is designed for managing the largest IP surveillance network in the central room. It routes video between different surveilance networks and provides multisite surveillance service in wire-speed. It is the best choice for airport surveillance, highway surveillance, city surveillance, railway station surveillance, infrastructure surveillance, utility surveillance, casino surveillance, oil field surveillance and so on.
