Industrial Ethernet Media Converter – MCI-211G
The MCI-211G is a simple and cost effective Gigabit Ethernet media industrial converter suitable for use in a wide range of factory and building automation applications. The MCI-211G features Link Fault Forwarding (LFF) in order to forward link status changes to alert remote or central management systems via the connected media.
The unit is designed for DIN rail mounting into industrial cabinets allowing simple Ethernet connections to be established between PLCs, I/O units, drives, inverters and HMIs. The dual power input makes the unit ideal in these types of application and the fault relay can be connected to an I/O unit to provide simple network management.
Designed to work in industrial environments with its IP 31 Aluminium housing and a wide temperature specification the
MCI-211 is an ideal automation solution,
The Industrial Ethernet Media Converter MCI-211 is so easy to use, simply connect power to the screw terminals and plug in your RJ-45 cables. If you plan to use the fault contacts a DIP switch allows configuration whilst LEDs provide simple diagnostics if required.
